The 14th Five-Year Plan clearly points out that we should adhere to the core position of innovation in the overall situation of modernization, regard scientific and technological self-reliance and self-improvement as the strategic support for national development, face the world's scientific and technological frontiers, face the major needs of the country, and face the people's life and health, deeply implement the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, strengthening the country with talents, and drive development through innovation, improve the construction of the innovation system, and accelerate the construction of a scientific and technological power. At present, from a global perspective, science and technology have increasingly become the main force to promote economic and social development, and innovation is the trend of the times. A new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is nurturing and rising, some important scientific issues and key core technologies have shown the precursor of revolutionary breakthroughs, and the energy of reform and breakthroughs is constantly accumulating. In the fierce international competition, only innovators advance, only innovators are strong, and only innovators win. In some fields of science and technology, China is changing from "runner" to "peer", or even "leader". At the same time, we must also soberly see that compared with developed countries, the foundation of China's scientific and technological innovation is not yet solid, there is still a significant gap in the level of innovation, and in some fields the gap has not narrowed, but has a tendency to expand. Therefore, improving innovation capabilities and creating an innovation ecology are the top priorities for building an innovative country and a world science and technology power.
The International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Automation (MEA 2022), as a sub-venue of the 4th International Conference on Scientific and Technological Innovation, will be held in Chongqing, China on December 9-11, 2022. The conference aims to provide a platform for experts, scholars, engineering and technical personnel, and technical research and development personnel engaged in "mechanical engineering and automation" to share scientific research results and cutting-edge technologies, understand academic development trends, broaden research ideas, strengthen academic research and discussion, and promote industrialization and cooperation of academic achievements.
